Welcome to The No Day But Today Project. We hope that while browsing our site you will not just find the answers you may be looking for, but you also discover the love, support, encouragement and companionship we all need when we’re facing life’s struggles. That’s what The No Day But Today Project is all about.
Everything we do is based on a simple statement: No one should face life with HIV alone. It is this belief that unites us, and drives us to create a better, safer, healthier, happier Philippines for all of us.
Our approach is twofold.
1. We understand that admitting to friends and family that you may be at risk for HIV is a scary thing, and it’s just not possible for many people. That’s why we offer private counseling, we accompany you for your tests, and we’re with you after the result – no matter what it may be. And we will stand beside you for as long as you need us.
2. We believe that people not getting tested for HIV is not the problem – it’s a symptom. The real problem is stigma. Stigma is based in fear, which is based in a lack of understanding. If we target the stigma by educating and setting healthy, positive examples for others to see, the stigma will disappear. And when that happens, there won’t be a need for The No Day But Today Project! That’s why we include public speaking engagements, HIV Awareness Seminars and media interviews in our “war on stigma”.
We are a faith-based organization, but we do not preach, and we will never try to change your beliefs. But we do believe that spiritual growth is essential to living healthy, happy lives. We are a non-sectarian organization and we partner with other religious groups, clinics, hospitals and other support organizations to provide comprehensive holistic care, guidance and love to anyone facing life with HIV in the Philippines.
